Law Day Out Court Excursion

The Law Day Out is an immersive court visit court excursion experience for  NSW Year 10 – 12 school students run by the Rule of Law Education Team.

The Law Day Out will be a paid service from the 1st of July 2019. For details of pricing download our pricing structure document. Low ICSEA schools will receive special consideration. 

Law Day Out Court Excursions are available at:

  • Sydney CBD Downing Centre 
  • Sydney CBD Supreme Court
  • Parramatta Court Precinct 
  • Wollongong Court Precinct 

We can assist in sourcing judicial speakers for Sydney suburban and NSW regional Local and District Courts 

A Law Day Out involves the Rule of Law Education Team:

  • liaising with the court/s and making all of the necessary arrangements for access
  • arranging a judge or other legal professional to speak to students about their work and what the rule of law means to them
  • our Legal Education Facilitator guiding students in their observation of court matters and explaining what is happening in court as it relates to their syllabus
  • providing risk assessment and other documentation for teachers to assist in the planning of the court excursion

How to Book a Law Day Out

  • Choose the best date range for your school and students
  • Look at that date range on the calendar
  • Choose a BLUE BOX that says the court that you want to visit is AVAILABLE FOR A LAW DAY OUT
  • RIGHT CLICK OPEN NEW TAB/WINDOW and fill out the form and submit your booking request
  • Contact us if you have not heard from us after 2 working days
